Create a Windows Environment - Client OS

We will also need one or more client VMs for admin or test purposes. We will follow the same steps as with Server OS, as we did on a previous post

First we will create the Master VM



We will add the necessary applications needed and then sysprep it. 


Once the Master VM is sysprep-ed we can clone it


We will use Linked clone, since this is the most disk space efficient method, as we discussed on the previous post


After that we can power up our child VM and do additional changes. Setup the Network Card, give a hostname etc.
